Sheldon Myeroff founded Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture in 2013 as a way to stay active, do what he loved to do, and exercise his creativity following his retirement in 2018. Little did he know then that the basement he called his workshop would evolve into a 6000 square foot production facility with some of the country’s best designers and furniture-makers – all staying active, doing what they love to do, and exercising their creativity day in and day out. Learn more about Sheldon, his team, and the way they make it all work at Chagrin Valley.

Large Black Walnut Dining Room Table with Black Epoxy River

This custom designed large black walnut dining table with a black epoxy resin river and sturdy steel legs was sold online to a family in Chicago and shipped to their home. The custom furniture design process was done online and by phone as a collaborative effort between the customer and CVCF makers. The customer selected all the materials, including the black walnut slab, a wood species that is harvested sustainably right here in Northeast Ohio. This project took a few months to design, select materials, build and ship.
