We Start With Your Design Idea.
Placing your order for a piece of custom furniture is a very simple process.
First, you reach out using one of our many forms around this website, such as the request an estimate form, the design your own online form, or the submit your furniture design form. Every form offers the functionality to attach photos of your hand-drawn sketches, photos of the perfect table you saved from online, or all of the above.
Next, we reach out to you.
Using the preferred method of communication you identified in your inquiry, we will contact you within a business day to learn more about your project. At this point, we discuss with you exactly what you're looking for, and take your idea and make it into one with specific details, colors, wood species and more.
You will recieve several PDFs with customization options to choose from, and you'll have several conversations with our designer, who can walk you through the selection process, and help you if you decide on any truly custom colors of bases. At this point, you will also discuss CNC engraving, whether or not items will be embedded in your epoxy resin river (if you choose one) and so on.
Then, you're given a verbal quote that reflects all of the agreed upon specifications.
Signing your agreement.
Once the ducks of your project are all in a row, you wil recieve an electronic agreement, which can be E-signed, or physically signed and scanned or mailed back. It is at this point that you pay 50% of the cost of your project as a down payment.
Payments are accepted in the form of a check, ACH wire transfer, and credit card with a 3.6% convenience fee. We accept all major credit cards (VISA, AMEX, Mastercard, etc.)
Choose your slab.
Within 30 days of payment, one of our furniture designers will arrange a video call so you may choose the slab(s) of wood for your project. Since there's so much character inherent in each piece, we want you to be 1000% sure the slab we work with is suited to your tastes, personality, and character.
The selection process will take place at our vendor's facility, which stores over 500 locally sourced live edge slabs at a time.
